PC & MacExchange Return Shipments

 

1.   Before you return defective product or send stock-balance shipments, you need to follow these procedures:

2.   Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number; see the How To Get An RMA Number section below.

3.   Write the RMA number on the original shipping label, not on the box.

4.   Include one RMA per carton.

Shipments can include merchandise that is being returned for different reasons, such as DOA vs. stock balancing, but a separate RMA number is required for each SKU and condition. Please review PC & MacExchange RMA criteria and shipping requirements.

Dial 1 (888) 650-4488 to talk to your representatives. When you call, please have your account number, SKUs and product descriptions handy. 


Via Fax

You can fax your return requests to our main fax number at (951) 296-6333. Please allow 48 business hours for a response to your fax request.

 

Overgoods: (Please Read Carefully!)

Any product return received by PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors that does not meet the original requirements for that return will be classified as overgoods. All overgoods will be returned to the customer, and the customer will be charged a $50 processing fee per shipment returned, plus related freight charges.

 

Examples of overgoods:

Unauthorized product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors.

Product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors in unauthorized condition.

Product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors in unauthorized quantities.

Product(s) not returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors in original manufacturer's packaging/box(es).

Product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors missing manuals, components or cables.

Product(s) or manufacturer packaging that is written on or defaced.

Product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors after RMA has expired.

Product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors without RMA number(s) on the shipping label(s).

Product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors with incomplete or inaccurate RMA number(s) on the shipping label(s).

Product(s) returned to PC & MacExchange or it’s distributors with non-PC & MacExchange RMA number(s) on the shipping label(s).

 

If a customer refuses the overgoods shipment from PC & MacExchange, or returns overgoods to PC & MacExchange a second time without PC & MacExchange’s prior authorization, the customer agrees to relinquish all rights and titles to, and waive all claims against PC & MacExchange for credit related to such products.

 

Things To Know

1.   To help prevent damage in transit, it is suggested that product and/or shippable containers be further protected with additional shipping materials.

2.   RMAs are valid for 20 days after issuance.

3.   Many vendors have restrictive return policies. Information on return policies and warranties are available upon request.

4.   Customers are responsible for return-freight charges on stock balance shipments.

5.   Special orders and shipments direct from the manufacturer require a written, valid manufacturer RMA number prior to shipping the return.

6.   Non-defective, non-DOA returns are subject to a minimum charge of $0.50/item for shrink-wrapping, sticker removal and other return-related tasks.

7.   Do not write on manufacturers' boxes. Product(s) must be in resalable condition    for you to receive credit.

8.   Please allow up to 14 days from receipt of product(s) for PC & MacExchange to process your return for credit.

 

For efficient return-shipment execution and to ensure that you receive credit due, please follow all procedures above. Failure to follow procedures may result in product being returned to you at your expense. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (888) 650-4488.
